We are all Rosa

V6

[Intro] Hey. Look at me. Yeah, you. Don't drop your eyes now. Funny how you stared while she was going down. Now I'm looking at you, and you can't make a sound. [Beat drops] [Verse 1] Yeah, you're that one. Phone in your hand, thumb sitting ready, never throw the first punch, but you hold the camera steady. Laugh when the room laughs, fold when it turns, switch sides, switch morals, never get burned. Don't call that smart, that's fear with good timing. You spot who's sinking, then you start climbing. Stand with the strong, then you laugh at the small, you only feel big when you watch somebody fall. Look at you, proud of your little role, you rent your spine to the crowd's control. Couldn't even be an asshole on your own if you tried, you need a whole damn crowd just to pick a side. [Pre-Chorus] "You didn't hit her." Yeah, I heard it all. Clean hands, but you helped them make her fall. [Hook] YOU HIT HER TOO. Don't give me that bullshit, I saw it, so did you. YOU HIT HER TOO. Every time you let it run, every time you let it through. Every laugh, every clip, every "go on," every share, you weren't watching from outside, you were right fucking there. YOU HIT HER TOO. Clean hands don't mean you're clean, and you know it's true. [Verse 2] What'd you film? The fall? The shaking? The tears? Waiting on the breakdown so it lasts for years. Nice. Real tough. Somebody had to crack so you could feel strong, then "it was just a joke," like nothing's wrong. Funny how it's "just a joke" when it ain't your pain, you forget her face tomorrow, she'll see yours again and again (and again, and again) Ten seconds for your feed, that's all it took, she's carrying it for life, every laugh, every look. And that face had a name. Rosa. Say it. Rosa. Maybe now it sticks. Feeling called out? Good. Choke on it. You had a voice, you had a phone, you could've spoken up. But that takes nerve, and that might cost you, way easier playing savage when twenty people back you. Trash gets real brave when trash becomes a trend, then it's "I wasn't there," you always pretend. [Hook] YOU HIT HER TOO. Don't give me that bullshit, I saw it, so did you. YOU HIT HER TOO. Every time you let it run, every time you let it through. Every laugh, every clip, every "go on," every share, don't call yourself a witness, you were standing right there. YOU HIT HER TOO. "Never swung" don't matter, you cheered till it was done. [Verse 3] And no, you weren't neutral, so cut the act, nobody's neutral when somebody's getting attacked, and you're loving every second, you can't hold it back. You weren't "just there," you fed it, you cosigned it, you were the oxygen, the permission, the green light behind it. You were the look that said: "Keep going. We're with you. Do it again." Then one step back to rewrite the story: "I never touched her." "I said nothing." "Don't put that on me." Whole place full of witnesses, whole place scared to move, everybody got their camera out, nobody had the guts to stop it, twenty phones recording and not one of you dropped it. And you? Dead center. Close enough to catch the joke, far enough to sell the lie. Keep your hands clean, keep your face out the frame, but it wasn't content, and it wasn't a game. It was Rosa. While you were chasing reactions, she was trying to disappear. [Break] No. You're not innocent. You're worse. 'Cause you knew, and you still chose the crowd first. [Verse 4] Look at me again. No crew, no phone, no comments, no crowd, no twenty voices making cowards feel loud. What's left? Just fear waiting on a cue, a cheap little echo waiting to be told what to do. That's you. Every time the crowd talked louder than your conscience, every time you turned their fear into content, every time somebody looked at you like: "Please. Make it stop." And instead of stepping in, you lift the fucking phone. Small. That's all you are. All that noise, all that fake tough act, hiding how scared you are that the whole crowd might attack. [Final Hook] YOU HIT HER TOO. Get that through your head. YOU HIT HER TOO. You don't need fists for that. If you laugh, if you film, if you post, if you share, if you watch somebody break and you stand right there, YOU HIT HER TOO. Don't hide behind "I never touched her," you gave it a pass, so the next hit came faster. Your hands were never clean. [Outro] Now say it again. "I didn't do anything." Louder. Exactly. You did nothing. That's the point. You were there. Rosa was there too. You could look away. She couldn't. She couldn't.
