Loop Failed Successfully

**“Loop Failed Successfully”** *(Intro – Spoken)* This was supposed to be the Banbury loop. Keyword: supposed. Instead… the loop collapsed halfway through and somehow still became a loop. --- *(Verse 1)* 664 out of Southam side, Had to rush just to make the ride, Long Itchington waking slow, Offchurch lanes and morning glow. Empty bus through Warwickshire rain, No college today, no academic pain. North Leam rolling into sight— Finally reached Leamington right. --- *(Verse 2)* X18 down toward Stratford way, Rain disappeared through Warwick way. Thought today had a proper plan— Actually knew where the route began. The 75 was next in line… Banbury expansion mission time. --- *(Bridge – The Collapse)* Then reality hit. Banbury buses are cooked Miss one bus? Enjoy your two-hour wait mate. Stratford flashbacks entered my head, “Yeah nah… this loop might end up dead.” --- *(Chorus)* Loop failed successfully, Still somehow became a journey, One wrong move and you’re stranded there, Rural timetables don’t play fair. Bustimes crashing mentally, Routes updating incorrectly, Banbury dream disappeared— So Coventry randomly appeared. --- *(Verse 3)* X18 straight back again, Warwick roads through light grey rain. Most pointless reversal ride, But at least I stayed Midlands side. Poundland stop in Leamington town, Villa versus Liverpool countdown. Snacks acquired for later on— Loop objective already gone. --- *(Verse 4)* 63 through Rugby line, Radford Semele passing by, Southam roads then Stockton fields, Dunchurch bends and transport wheels. This loop’s boring honestly true, But getting stranded sounds worse to do. Co-op meal deal tactical play— Greggs prices rising every day. --- *(Verse 5)* Southern fried chicken wrap secured, McCoys steak flavour endured, Ribena bottle by my side— No Monster energy this ride. Could buy one… probably can— But proving a point at this point man --- *(Verse 6)* 85 to Coventry now, Saw the bus and thought “yeah somehow.” Late because the driver changed— Typical Midlands transport range. Through Lutterworth and Pailton roads, Monks Kirby under cloudy glow. Meanwhile a wasp lost its mind— Fighting its own reflection blind --- *(Verse 7)* Then bustimes fully lost the plot, Claimed the X18 was hundred-plus late on the dot. Said the 75 still hadn’t moved— Turns out the tracking system was confused. That’s what killed the Banbury plan, One broken app destroyed the span. --- *(Verse 8)* X18 down to Leam once more, A46 humming like before. One minute change, no waiting round— 63 already inbound. New Yutong electric glide, Quiet ending to the ride. Southam lights as evening fell— Loop failed… but somehow went well. --- *(Final Chorus)* Loop failed successfully, Still became a whole odyssey, Banbury vanished from the map— Yet the buses still overlapped. From Stratford plans to Coventry turns, Every failed route somehow still works, Mission dead but loop survived— Midlands transport still arrived. --- *(Outro – Spoken)* The moral of the story? Never trust rural bus frequencies. And NEVER trust bustimes.org when it starts hallucinating.
