NDC Summer Bingo Challenge: [C5] Genre: Witch House Theme: Misunderstood 🎵 Lyrics 🎵 Shadows crawl on the ceiling again You hold your breath Something’s in the closet But the rattle isn’t teeth It’s the old pane bending The night pushing through It’s just the wind It’s just the wind Fingers don’t scrape behind the door That’s the branch outside Swaying in the wind You were wrong about the growl Just the storm’s low hum Droning in the walls Just the wind Just the wind No ghosts here, only drafts Only the house settling into its bones You were listening for monsters But the dark doesn’t need them You misunderstood the sounds It was only the wind But the wind doesn’t whisper names
