Some D&D With Our Rush
The dungeon’s dim, the candles flicker, The tension seems, a little thicker. Dice are rolling, spells are flying, But Geddy’s voice keeps amplifying. We love Rush, but, we're just sayin', Can we hear Priest or maybe some Maiden? The dungeon master points with flair, Confused beneath his silver hair. "You’re a 12th level Magic User. What do you have to complain about?" “You’ve got fireballs and a cloak of flight, What’s one more round of 2112 tonight? Your bag of holding has endless loot, So stop your whining, and just salute!” The rogue suggests some Zeppelin next, The cleric nods, The bard’s perplexed. The paladin sighs, "What about BÖC?" Instead, it's another 3-hour Rush spree. "Your sword is glowing, it cleaves in twain, Yet here you sit and dare complain?" The ranger shrugs, "Let’s try some Priest, A soundtrack fit for slaying beasts." The bard grins, "I vote for Maiden, Or maybe some Sabbath as a sort of trade-in." The DM laughs, "You’ve got it all, From Vorpal blades to a crystal ball!" With every groan, the DM roars, “You’ve got a castle with trapdoor floors. Like a bunch of dragon’s hoarding a gem cascade, Your latest magic item? It's, handmade!” “You’ve got fireballs and a cloak of flight, What’s one more round, of 2112 tonight? Your bag of holding has endless loot, So stop your whining, and just salute!” “Oh magic users, hear my decree, From Xanadu to YYZ. Your power’s vast, Wealth stacked tall, So what’s a little Geddy Lee enthrall?” The night wears on, the dice grow cold, The wizard’s weary, decided to fold. But in the end, we would laugh and say, “Some D&D with our Rush, Just the way we played!”
