The Day I got out of bed

(pre chorus) I could tell this was going to be a day cracked head and all, I  got to get some coffee in me to help me deal with it all,

(chorus) I  looked out the window and to my surprise right before my bright shining eyes, looky looky it fell from the skies hell this is gonna blow, looks like about a foot of snow , the streetlights shing off the snow it was beautiful and all aglow.

(verse2) I walked back to the kitchen to get me something to eat, and bam there came the dog running at me I went to jump and she knocked me off my feet,  I could tell it's going to be a long hard day,

(verse3) Well now I'm hurting and in some pain, well I'm cracked in the head since getting out of bed, now my back is hurting so bad, yeah, I'm going to need more than a cup of coffee,  so I guess I'll roll me a joint and puff puff, I looked at my dog a went ruff ruff ,

(verse4) my doggies looked at me and made a big sigh, I though to myself well now I'm high, made myself some bacon eggs and hashbrowns, went to the table to sit and eat , yeah went to sit down guess what I missed the seat,

OK now there I am on the floor,  and who walks through the door,  my wonderful wife Darlene she was laughing so hard, and I was so sore I asked her to help me up from the damn floor, well by now I'm hurting for  certain, oh what a day so far.

so I finished eating and I went outside to shovel the snow, as you could imagine I am moving pretty slow, well I went to the street to help a neighbor whenout of nowhere I got hit by a snowplow, wow oh wow think I broke my knee, damn somehow I got to get back inside, yeah oh boy I'm starting to bleed, just great that's all I need.

(outro) I can't explain anymore of what's happening, I put on bandages took some pain killer's for my head ,pretty dang sure I am going back to bed,

cover up with a blanket and a sheet, now after all of that crap hopefully I can fall asleep,  so when you get out of bed be careful as hell I don't want to here how your day started as you fell, I  hope things are much better when I awake, I hope I'm starting to mend  soon I'm getting up and starting over again.
