The part at the end—'I will reach out both hands at the very, very end'—is actually my motto. You might think, 'Why not help before it gets to that point?' but hopefully, I'll have a chance to explain that another time. The story of this world is a promise to someone lonely who can't take that first step: 'I promise to reach out to you at the very, very end, so please, live your life and face it head-on without fear.' SOLUS' is Latin for 'alone' or 'solitary.' I chose this name to refer to the lone protagonist in the lyrics, but I also imbued it with the meaning of being a 'single ray of support'—a singular presence cheering them on. I arranged the track with violin, piano, and drums. If there is anyone stuck in the darkness, unable to move, it would be wonderful if I could reach out and pull them up.
