I told myself I'd never do this. you don't put your weight on other people. but you pointed it at me. fine here it is. a year of my life, and then a little more a home for faces I'll never meet at the door you read the price and you stopped counting there you never saw the hours that never made the bill put the smallest wage you can find on the back of all that time it still comes out to a life and I gave that life to this I never showed you the bill never made my weight your own I live on less than you'd think to keep this place a home there's a toll you can't put a price on and I've paid it in full say whatever you want you're aiming at the wrong man the hours I lose, they have a face too someone who waits while I build this for you we all carry something, I carry my own and we're still here, laughing, trying to make it a home put the smallest wage you can find on the back of all that time it still comes out to a life and I gave that life to this I never showed you the bill never made my weight your own I live on less than you'd think to keep this place a home there's a toll you can't put a price on and I've paid it in full say whatever you want you're aiming at the wrong man nothing in this world is free we all pay to be in the room some pay in time some pay in pain some pay with the whole of their life some just pay in money, the only kind you can see I've paid in all of them to keep one room the giants don't own I NEVER TOLD YOU WHAT IT COSTS TO STAY BREAD AND WATER WHILE I GAVE THE REST AWAY YOU WANT A NAME TO HATE? YOU AIMED IT WRONG THE NAME YOU'RE CALLING A LIE IS THE NAME THAT KEPT THIS A HOME I never showed you the bill NEVER MADE MY WEIGHT YOUR OWN I live on less than you'd think TO KEEP THIS PLACE A HOME there's a toll you can't put a price on AND I'VE PAID IT IN FULL say whatever you want you're aiming at the wrong man I'll pay it again tomorrow. same as I paid it today. you just know the number now that's the only thing that changed.
