I sit here night and day Holding my sign that saids I am Hungry could you please give me some Money today But people just walk pass And look away I don't drink or take drugs But because some others do No one wants to give you money To help you To get someones help today Has become a more of a trust issue I used to be employed But the company Got retrenched now I am sitting outside on a bench Holding a sign please help me Because I became homeless I couldnt afford to pay my rent Because I got retrenched I dont have any Famliy to help me or any friends Life is so hard to try to survive In the cold every day Just sitting here holding a sign Night and day Just to have a litte food in my belly today
