I hear the bells a-ringing It’s Santa and his sleigh Bringing toys and presents Here for Christmas Day Children’s hearts are glowing Akin to Rudolph’s nose The hopes they’ll see their Santa Their joy begins to show Santa Claus, Santa Claus Bring us some toys Clothes and candy To fill our hearts with joy And if you cannot do it I truly understand There are children poorer Who need a helping hand (Who need a helping hand) The sleigh bells getting closer Children sound of sleep Said their little prayer Lord my soul to keep We dream of something greater Joy and happiness Could we take a moment Another family could you bless Santa Claus, Santa Claus Bring us some toys Clothes and candy To fill our hearts with joy And if you cannot do it I truly understand There are children poorer Who need a helping hand (Who need a helping hand) Christmas is the season A time we all can shine Rejoice the gift of giving The best of all mankind Open up your heart now Support a family Gifts of love for children Support the charities Santa Claus, Santa Claus Bring us some toys Clothes and candy To fill our hearts with joy And if you cannot do it I truly understand There are children poorer Who need a helping hand (Who need a helping hand)
