[Instrumental] [Verse 1] An ancient beast with fire breath Roams the skies to bring the death Blackened wings eclipse the sun Fury falls from skies of blood [Refrain] Inferno spreading, no hope in sight Flames engulf the countryside tonight Tonight! [Verse 2] The village burns, men cry in vain The rage consumes the earth in flame Thatched-roof cottages reduced to dust The dragon must quench his bloodlust [Refrain] Inferno spreading, no hope in sight Flames engulf the countryside tonight Tonight! [Chorus] Burn! Burn! Wings of fire Burn! Burn! The flames rise higher Burn! Burn! Wings of fire Burn! Burn! The flames rise higher [Guitar Solo] [Verse 3] The fields of green now black with soot In its wake terror takes root Horrific roars and screams of fear Villagers cower, the end is here [Refrain] Inferno spreading, no hope in sight Flames engulf the countryside tonight Tonight! [Chorus] Burn! Burn! Wings of fire Burn! Burn! The flames rise higher Burn! Burn! Wings of fire Burn! Burn! The flames rise higher [Post-Chorus] Higher! Higher! Higher! Higher! The scorched earth tyrant His flames rise higher [Guitar Solo]
