In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Man fell, and death entered the world. But the LORD spoke judgment to the serpent— That the Seed of the woman would come, And though His heel would be struck, He would crush the serpent’s head. The war was declared before history began. A coming Seed, the head crushed down Heel would bleed, the strike would land Yet victory stayed in Yahweh’s hand War was sworn in Eden’s dust God made promise — and God is just The war began in holy ground Truth and lies, the battle sound The serpent rose, the Seed was named History bent around that flame Kingdoms rise Kingdoms fall One decree outlives them all The Word stands firm, the oath remains The serpent waits — the Seed will reign Altars smoked with offered blood Lambs fell silent, pointing up Doors marked red in Egypt’s night Death passed over by the sign Thunder shook the mountain high Law revealed to blinded eyes Priests stood trembling, veils held tight Glory hidden from our sight Kings were crowned, then cast aside Prophets wept, the faithful died Every shadow, every sign Pointed forward through all time Empires roar Idols claim None could break the sacred Name The Word stands firm, the oath remains The serpent waits — the Seed will reign Verse 3 — The Word Made Flesh Then silence broke — the Word took breath Stepped through time, walked toward death Born of woman, born under Law The eternal entered war Demons shook, the sick were healed Truth exposed what lies concealed Light pressed hard against the night Every step was holy fight Tempted, tested, yet He stood Perfect Son, obedient, good Every road to Calvary Was conquest dressed as tragedy Wood and iron, blood and breath Life marched straight into death The serpent struck with all his might Heaven held its breath that night Darkness laughed, the Son was slain Love endured the mortal pain What looked like loss to every eye Was judgment falling from the sky Earth cracked Veil split He spoke once — that was it Debt gone Chains broke Graves felt the verdict hit What bled in loss Now wears the crown Stone rolled back, the grave stood still Death undone by sovereign will Flesh restored, the curse reversed The First and Last defeated first Raised in power, crowned in light Seated now at heaven’s right All authority proclaimed Every foe beneath His name The serpent bound, the time is short The gospel sounds, the saints report The King will come, the trumpet near The Judge of all will soon appear The war is done The throne remains The Lamb who died forever reigns No more curse No final night The King of kings is clothed in light The serpent crushed The saints restored The earth made new by Christ the Lord The Lamb reigns. Worthy is the Lamb who was slain.
