WHEN THE BELLS RING DAHLIA [Intro — Complete Silence] [One Distant Cathedral Bell] DONG… [Soft Piano Enters] [Almost Whispered, Warm Lower Register] Another Christmas… Another year… [Delicate, High Soprano Head Voice] Ooh-ooh-ooh… [Verse 1 — Intimate Piano and Solo Cello] We’ve been walking through the seasons With a thousand dreams to chase Some were lost along the journey Some were waiting to be made There were nights we needed answers There were days we couldn’t shine But somehow through the darkness We kept finding little lights [Pre-Chorus — Strings Slowly Rising] And the world keeps turning But tonight we know Every heart deserves a place Where love can grow [Ascending Melismatic Run] Oh, let the love grow… [Chorus — Sweeping Orchestral Christmas Pop] When the bells ring Let the whole world hear Every little hope we carried Through another year When the bells ring Let the stars come alive Every broken dream can find Another chance to shine Oh-oh-oh, let the heavens sing Oh-oh-oh, feel the joy they bring WHEN THE BELLS RING! Let the love begin! [Post-Chorus — Gentle Gospel Choir] [Choir] Ring, ring, let them ring Hear a thousand voices sing [Lead — High Soprano Harmony] Ooh, let the whole world sing! [Verse 2 — Warm R&B Groove, Bells and Piano] There’s a child beside the window With a wish upon a star And a family at the table Who have traveled very far There’s a friend who found forgiveness And a stranger welcomed in Every little act of kindness Is a place where hope begins [Pre-Chorus — Stronger Choir Harmonies] And the world keeps turning But tonight we see All the love we’ve given Is the love we leave [Powerful Upper-Register Run] Oh, let it carry me! [Chorus — Full Orchestra, Gospel Harmonies] When the bells ring Let the whole world hear Every little hope we carried Through another year When the bells ring Let the stars come alive Every broken dream can find Another chance to shine Oh-oh-oh, let the heavens sing Oh-oh-oh, feel the joy they bring WHEN THE BELLS RING! Let the love begin! [Bridge — Music Falls to Solo Piano] [Soft, Emotional Lead] When the Christmas lights are fading When the snow has turned to rain Will we keep a little kindness When December goes away? [Gentle Choir Humming Enters] Will we hold the ones who need us? Will we help somebody stand? Will we carry all this magic In the kindness of our hands? [Strings Begin an Emotional Crescendo] [Lead — Building Through Mixed Voice] ‘Cause Christmas isn’t only What we celebrate tonight… [Ascending Soprano Melisma] It’s the love we keep ali-i-i-ive… [Extremely High, Sustained Soprano Head Voice — NO WHISTLE] ALIIIIIIIVE! [Full Orchestra Swells] [Choir — Powerful Unison] LET THE BELLS RING! [Final Chorus — Upward Key Change, Full Orchestra and Gospel Choir] WHEN THE BELLS RIIIIING! Let the whole world hear! Every little hope we carried Through another year! When the bells ring Let the stars come alive Every broken dream can find ANOTHER CHANCE TO SHINE! [Lead — Soaring High Soprano Ad-Libs] Oh, let them ri-i-i-ing! Let the angels si-i-i-ing! [Choir — Full Harmonies] Let the bells ring! Let the love begin! [Lead — Extremely High, Crystal-Clear Soprano Head Voice] LET THE WHOLE WORLD SHIIIIIIINE! [Long Sustained High Note — Full Resonance, No Whistle] [Descending Six-Note Melismatic Run] Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! [Choir — Grand Final Refrain] When the bells ring When the bells ring Let the love begin Let the whole world sing! [Final Orchestral Hit — Cathedral Bells Ring Out] [Outro — Orchestra Fades to Piano and Soft Bells] [Lead — Intimate, Emotional] And when tomorrow comes… Let the magic stay. [Pause] [Softly, Smiling] Merry Christmas. [One Final, Exceptionally High but Gentle Soprano Head-Voice Flourish] Ooh-ooh-ooh… [Single Cathedral Bell] DONG… [Complete Silence]
