--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lyrics Wait… just wait… don’t make a sound, Hear his footsteps underground… Haarmann’s coming, cold and near, Whispering ......... inside your ear… Little hatchet in his hand, No one leaves, no one can stand… Run…Run Run Run but you won’t get far, He knows exactly who you are… Cut you down, piece by piece, Turn your screams to silent peace… Run…Run Run Run Eyes go dim, turned to glaze, Lost forever in his gaze… Flesh and bone, he shapes at will, Cold hands working, calm and still… Run…Run Run Run but you won’t get far, He knows exactly who you are… Cut you down, piece by piece, Turn your screams to silent peace… Run…Run Run Run Nothing left… no trace, no name, All reduced to something plain… What remains he throws away— Gone before the light of day… Run…Run Run Run but you won’t get far, He knows exactly who you are… Cut you down, piece by piece, Turn your screams to silent peace… Run…Run Run Run Wait… just wait… he’s at your door… You won’t be yourself no more…
