[Intro — Whispered] Three... Blind... Mice... [Verse 1] Three blind mice, Three blind mice, See how they run, See how they run. They all ran after The farmer's wife, Who cut off their tails With a carving knife. Did you ever see Such a thing in your life As three blind mice? [Verse 2] Down through the alley, Under the moon, Three little shadows Moving too soon. Nobody saw them, Nobody knew, Where they were running, Or what they were running to. Footsteps behind them, Cold in the air, Something was following... Someone was there. [Pre-Chorus] Run, little shadows, Run through the night, Don't let the darkness Catch you in the light. Run, little shadows, Don't turn around, Something is coming... Listen to the sound. [Chorus] Three blind mice, See how they run, Three blind mice, Run from the sun. Three blind mice, Where will they hide? Three little shadows Running through the night. [Instrumental Break] Dholak... Khartal... Footsteps... Three... Two... One... [Verse 3] The farmer's wife Was standing by, Watching the moon Cross the sky. Knife in her hand, But a tear in her eye, Nobody knew The reason why. Maybe the story Wasn't what it seemed, Maybe the mice Were chasing a dream. Maybe the darkness Wasn't the foe, Maybe they simply Had nowhere to go. [Pre-Chorus] Run, little shadows, Run through the night, Don't let the darkness Catch you in the light. [Chorus] Three blind mice, See how they run, Three blind mice, Run from the sun. Three blind mice, Where will they hide? Three little shadows Running through the night. [Bridge — Whispered] One lost... One broken... One afraid... Three little hearts That nobody saved. [Beat Builds] But they kept running... They kept running... They kept running... [Final Chorus — Dramatic] Three blind mice, See how they run, Three blind mice, Into the dawn. Three blind mice, No longer hide, Three little shadows Walking into the light. Three blind mice... Three blind mice... [Outro — Footsteps] Run... Run... Run... Silence.
