[Verse] Niko wore his tux with pride Half ragdoll king Half lion inside Golden eyes that lit the room A streak of joy Gone too soon [Prechorus] Fetch that mouse Toss it again He’d play till the daylight met its end [Chorus] Niko the police cat Chasing down the day Stuffed mouse in his jaws He’d never stray Drop it at your feet Meow and stay Niko Oh Niko You led the way [Verse 2] Brother by his side from the very start Two kittens tangled One shared heart Headstrong spirit Love so deep In your arms His soul would leap [Prechorus] Through every toss Through every leap You carried a joy we’ll always keep [Chorus] Niko the police cat Chasing down the day Stuffed mouse in his jaws He’d never stray Drop it at your feet Meow and stay Niko Oh Niko You led the way [Bridge] Cancer came like a thief in the night But your spirit burned A beacon of light You touched us all Left pawprints deep In our hearts Where your memory sleeps [Outro] But even the bravest must face their last fight The stars called his name on a quiet Dark night
