Hold Your Ground

[melodic intro] [Verse 1] Suit up in the armor of God, don’t wait When the dark starts talking, don’t let it set the date This fight ain’t flesh and bone, it’s deeper than the skin There's powers in the shadows trying hard to get in So hold your ground when the pressure comes around When the floor feels shaky and your peace can’t be found You’ve done all you can do, now stay and stand God’s got your back, He’s still in command [Chorus] So stand up, stand strong Truth around your waist all day long Righteousness on, feet ready to go Faith in your hand when the arrows start to show Helmet on tight, word in your grip Prayer on your lips, don’t let go of it When the battle tries to bend you, stand God gives you strength to hold your land [Verse 2] Buckle up truth like a belt you wear Let it keep you steady when the world feels unfair Wear that breastplate, let a clean life shine Walk in His peace, one step at a time Raise up your shield when the flaming darts fly Faith can put out what the enemy tries Take the sword of the Spirit, let the verses cut through When the lies get loud, let the Word tell you what’s true [Bridge] Keep praying, keep watch Don’t quit in the middle of the cost For every saint, every soul on the way We lean on God and we hold the faith [Chorus] So stand up, stand strong Truth around your waist all day long Righteousness on, feet ready to go Faith in your hand when the arrows start to show Helmet on tight, word in your grip Prayer on your lips, don’t let go of it When the battle tries to bend you, stand God gives you strength to hold your land [melodic outro] God gives you strength to hold your land
