[Verse 1] Shepherd the flock that is placed in your care With willing hands and a watchful prayer You walk through the fields where the good news is sown And teach us to make every kindness known [Pre-Chorus] You lead by the life that you quietly live With patience to guide and a heart to forgive [Chorus] Faithful brothers, steady and true There is strength in the work you do When the road is long, you remain near Serving with courage, compassion, and care Faithful brothers, may your hearts be strong You help us find where we belong [Verse 2] You open the Scriptures and prepare every word So hope can be heard and the truth can be learned You visit the weary, remember each name And lift up the fallen without bringing shame [Pre-Chorus] With mercy and justice, you guard what is clean You mend what is wounded, restore what has been [Chorus] Faithful brothers, steady and true There is strength in the work you do When the road is long, you remain near Serving with courage, compassion, and care Faithful brothers, may your hearts be strong You help us find where we belong [Instrumental Interlude] [Bridge] In halls built by hands, in assemblies of praise Through nights of concern and the busiest days You serve without seeking a name or reward Your love points us onward, your trust in the Lord [Final Chorus] Faithful brothers, steady and true May Jehovah strengthen all that you do When the road is long, you remain near Serving with courage, compassion, and care Faithful brothers, may your hearts be strong You help us keep moving along [Outro] Shepherd the flock with a tender heart Every small act can give hope a start
