[Verse] When I'll be old and grey as steel Will I still dance with fire or heel Will my laughter echo in the night Or fade away in morning light [Verse] When wrinkles form like roadmaps stray Will love still find a place to stay Will memories be sharp as knives Or dull like whispers in the sky [Chorus] Oh when I'll be old someday Will dreams still light the way Will my heart still beat so bold When I'll be old when I'll be old [Verse] When twilight wraps around my days Will I hear the songs of yesterdays Will the stars still flirt with my desires Or dim their waltz with cooling fires [Bridge] The future’s cloaked in mystery But I'll embrace it fearlessly Every line and every fold There's a story brave and bold [Chorus] Oh when I'll be old someday Will dreams still light the way Will my heart still beat so bold When I'll be old when I'll be old
