[Verse 1] Kura šūdam šamû, danna malik matim. ḫalṣu šuprum in epēš, lišānu šīmum bēlim. (Translation: “Kura, foundation of the heavens, / Mighty king of the land. / Sword of message in action, / Voice of fate, lord of command.”) [Chant 1] Kura! ḫalṣu ilāni! šūdam šamû, libbi dannim! šīmum atkal ṣidqi! (Translation: “Kura! Blade of the gods! / Foundation of the sky, heart of strength! / Fate, pillar of justice!”) [Verse 2] tûrum dāri, šamû nabnītu, ilib belūtim iššum ana nišê. iššû ša libbi šulmu, ṣidqu ana ummānūtim. (Translation: “Everlasting strength, builder of the heavens, / God of dominion lifted for the people. / He bears the heart of peace, / Justice for the nations.”) [Chant 2] Kura dannu! bēl nišē! šulmu ša bētim! šīmum libbi, qāt dāri! (Translation: “Kura the mighty! Lord of people! / Peace of the house! / Fate of the heart, hand of eternity!”) [Verse 3] iššum ina mātim napliš, ina šaplim iltum rû. libbi qâtim uznum epēš, ilū šūdam ibrū šīmim. (Translation: “He is known in every land, / In the depths the gods see him. / In the heart of the hand, wisdom is made, / The gods rest on the foundation of fate.”) [Chant 3] šīmum Kura! ḫalṣu šuprum! šaplim ilāni kīma nār! zīmu epēš, bēl šulmi! (Translation: “Fate of Kura!
