[Verse] I saw a flash of green and blue Dancing in the evening dew A shimmer in the quiet sky Neon butterflies flying high [Prechorus] They don’t care about the time They don’t stop for any sign [Chorus] Neon butterflies Glowing where the shadows lie Flashing wings that never die Neon butterflies [Verse 2] I reached my hand to catch the glow But they slipped through Soft and slow Like whispers from another place They vanish Leaving just a trace [Bridge] Do they dream or do they roam Do they have a place called home Or are they just the fleeting kind Colors painted on my mind [Chorus] Neon butterflies Glowing where the shadows lie Flashing wings that never die Neon butterflies
