Peace Before the Sending John 20:21

Title: Peace Before The Sending Verse 1 We were hiding behind locked doors With the weight of all we feared Dreams were buried Hope was trembling Till You stood among us near Not with anger Not with thunder Not with shame for where we’d been You said peace be with you And You breathed our hearts again Pre-Chorus You showed us Your wounds You showed us the way Love walked through the locked room And fear lost its name Chorus Peace to you Peace to you In the trouble I am with you Peace to you Peace to you As the Father sent Me I am sending you You don’t send me empty You don’t send me alone You speak peace into my fear Then You call me to go Verse 2 You may not remove the trouble You may lead me through the flame But the One who holds tomorrow Walks beside me just the same So I don’t need a fearless feeling I don’t need the open road If Your peace has met me hiding I can rise and I can go Pre-Chorus You showed us Your wounds You showed us the way Love walked through the locked room And fear lost its name Chorus Peace to you Peace to you In the trouble I am with you Peace to you Peace to you As the Father sent Me I am sending you You don’t send me empty You don’t send me alone You speak peace into my fear Then You call me to go Bridge Locked doors cannot stop You Fear cannot keep You away Wounds do not mean defeat now They show the price You paid Breathe on us again Lord Make our trembling hearts new Send us with Your presence Send us with Your peace and truth Final Chorus Peace to you Peace to you In the trouble I am with you Peace to you Peace to you As the Father sent Me I am sending you You don’t send me empty You don’t send me alone You speak peace into my fear Then You call me to go Tag You speak peace into my fear Then You call me to go
