Here we are at the beginning of December. As in every autumn, I come out of Remembrance Month rather bruised. I still cannot understand how, over the centuries, armed individuals have been used to resolve regional or international conflicts. It is so often young men who pay with their lives for these confrontations. Then come the civilians, and the children. I wish you a month of December filled with gentleness, peace, and serenity. A beginning of winter woven with dreams and poetry, with humanism, philosophical realignment, constructive sharing, and support, should you need it. You are good and beautiful people. You deserve every blessing life has to offer.
