(Verse 1) Oh the Big E sails with thunder’s roar, From ocean’s edge to distant shore, Steel and fire, she rules the skies, With jet-born wings that swiftly rise! (Chorus) Heave ho, Enterprise! Carrier queen with eagle eyes! Raise the flag and sound the cry, The stars and stripes shall never die! (Verse 2) From World War days to Cold War nights, She’s faced the storm and won the fights, Her deck’s a stage for freedom’s play, Where brave souls launch into the fray. (Chorus) Heave ho, Enterprise! Carrier queen with eagle eyes! Raise the flag and sound the cry, The stars and stripes shall never die! (Bridge) Eight ships bore the name with pride, Through fire and fate they did not hide, Now legends echo through the sea, Of sailors bold and flying free! (Verse 3) So here’s to crews both past and new, To every jet and sailor true, The Big E sails, her mission clear, Defend the peace, no room for fear! (Final Chorus) Heave ho, Enterprise! Carrier queen with eagle eyes! Raise the flag and sound the cry, The stars and stripes shall never die!
