[Verse 1] Blessed is the King who comes We throw our branches at Your feet Voices rising like a storm But we don’t know what we speak You are riding on the road Not in armor Not in steel Just a borrowed little colt Still You carry what we need [Chorus] You are a King like no other You wear a crown I cannot see You come in mercy Not in thunder You break my pride and set me free I lay my terms down at Your feet I want You Not my idea of You I surrender all my plans today I trust You as my King [Verse 2] Crowds are crying for a throne For a kingdom made of stone They are cheering for their way But Your ways cut through my own You are walking toward a cross While we’re dreaming of control You are offering Your peace As You come to claim my soul [Chorus] You are a King like no other You wear a crown I cannot see You come in mercy Not in thunder You break my pride and set me free I lay my terms down at Your feet I want You Not my idea of You I surrender all my plans today I trust You as my King [Bridge] Reveal the expectations I’ve been placing over You (oh) Every quiet accusation Every bargain that I choose Take the kingdom in my hands Trade it for Your better plans I receive You as You truly are Humble Savior Ruling heart [Chorus] You are a King like no other You wear a crown I cannot see You come in mercy Not in thunder You break my pride and set me free I lay my terms down at Your feet I want You Not my idea of You I surrender all my plans today I trust You as my King I surrender all my plans today I trust You as my King
