Cursed Blessing
[INTRO] You know what sucks about being a Thoughtaholic? Every shot of thought I take Consumes me until I vomit. [VERSE] Lost thoughts while I marvel. Two counts of murder. Charged tax for starving. Was told, “Get ’em, I got ’em.” That’s a problem Disguised as a problem. First case, I shot ’em. Gunned down thought. Thought passed over. Then turned back around Like a U-turn taught ’em. [REFLECTION] That’s the thing about thoughts. They don’t die easy. They change clothes. Change names. Change faces. Then show back up Acting like strangers. [VERSE] I got all these Jordan shoes. Different colors. Different stories. But they don’t change The running stories My feet tell. Pre-vail. Pierced veil. Mask worn like you. Only difference is My hiding place failed. [BUILD] Food for thought seems stale. Still I consume it. Still I chew it. Still I mate ideas together Until they conceive Another beginning. Another explanation. Another justification. Another courtroom Inside my head. [BREAKDOWN] Ghosts howling. Ghouls pronouncing. Every syllable an invitation. Every sentence a séance. Every word another doorway To something I never meant to create. [OUTRO] Alphabetical Use Disorder. Diagnostic impression: Chronic. Persistent. Progressive. With every click-click of my pen My addiction confesses itself. And I stay wondering Why I live Such a cursed blessing.
