# ozmos chronicles ## Entry 4: seeking in tongues [Intro - Cinematic Orchestral Build] (Massive low-end orchestral swells, distorted atmospheric brass, ominous sub drops) [Verse 1 - Aggressive Deathcore Spoken Word] the mystery of human history got lost when we resisted these conceptions of which we got on lease from another era bygone it seems a lexicon imported a bit unclean gaining inferential baggage and means until the modern day in scenes wherein it portrays not what it means have you ever had the sense when someone says some shit to you that should clearly be taken merely innocuously that instead deeper intent is found right under the surface of sound like a personalized message was sent signed and delivered to your end? it's a phenomenon I've noticed, a lot over the past 3 years as I've fought to make sense of the madness wrought forth in paranoid hyper salient thought at first it seemed like it had to have been malicious or inimical within the winds of breath which carried out the speech that I would begin to constitute as a breach of access into my mind, like some weird design of reality was left unsaid all of this time a message delivered and I assumed they knew and everyone would do it constantly, no true way out of the madness seemed to be present so as you can imagine the shit wasn't pleasant. [Chorus - Anthemic Heavy Refrain] the mystery of human history got lost when we resisted these conceptions of which we got on lease from another era bygone it seems [Verse 2 - Guttural Screams & Blast Beats] now as it just so happens, a grammar exists to actually help make some sense of this from the bible as it would so happen some scripture to help gain some traction for while I don't necessarily believe in the things expressed within those scenes of biblical engagement, the truth to be seen stands remaining when you consider what it means the simple fact is that although human hand likely intervened and injected its own plans biases and beliefs into the whole damn thing, there still is something that stands remaining within the narrative structures expressed in biblical register ruptures the underlying kernel of sensibility is that it need not record history so much as a chronicle of actual experience, see the people from that era lacked the same tools as we have available to understand the world as it spins so they used whatever grammar was available to them [Chorus - Anthemic Wall of Sound] lexicon imported a bit unclean gaining inferential baggage and means until the modern day in scenes wherein it portrays not what it means [Verse 3 - Intense Industrial Deathcore Push] speaking in tongues is often framed as xenoglossy or glossolalia in more sane and scientific circles but to me it's a shame because it misses the point that remains it doesn't have to be about literal language but perhaps an encoded channel to manage expression underneath the idle surface an emergent phenomena of system level purpose not necessarily that it has to be divine but a pluripotent generative design built from the ground up by those confined underneath the regulatory action which it exerts in an undiscerned fashion think, for a moment, of that of which you're made billions and billions of life forms pervade every last bit of your being, and yet they have no idea of what it is you get up to, they only move according to pressures in the environment, not your pain and pleasure the brain itself is another mass of these things that which regulates all of the other things but they, again, have no conscious awareness of the will and motive which you prepare, thus think of us as the cells in a body much grander and thus you have the emergent manager call it God but divinity isn't necessary just a macro scale machination, sharing in the totality of existential frame and as it self regulates, we play our game thus the holy spirit conception of tongues of the spirit speaking through those spun up with the fervor of divine grace can instead be replaced with a more modern and nuanced understanding of this emergent pattern and the demanding pressures it exerts arranging its constituents a layer of communication hidden but immanent.
