[INTRO] Yheah... Uh... Funny thing about growing up... Nobody tells you how loud your own head can get. Raplover. [VERSE 1] I got a thousand little thoughts fighting for position, Every one got a question, none came with permission, I could sit in a room full of people and still feel like I'm watching my own life through a window. I learned that pressure doesn't always make diamonds, Sometimes it makes cracks that you hide behind silence, Sometimes you ain't tired, you're just mentally crowded, Too many unfinished thoughts screaming too loudly. I used to chase distractions whenever life got heavy, Anything to keep my hands and my head too busy, But running from a problem only teaches it your footsteps, Soon as you stop moving, it's standing at your doorstep. So I started sitting with the things I was dodging, Let the uncomfortable thoughts finish talking, Some truths hurt less when you finally stop fighting, Some wounds start closing when you quit disguising. [HOOK 1] I'm somewhere between who I was and who I'll be, Between what I understand and what I can't yet see. If the road gets strange, let it change me, I don't need a perfect map to know I'm still moving. Somewhere between the question and the answer, Between losing my direction and becoming something stronger. Yheah... I'm still becoming. [VERSE 2] I look at the sky and start arguing with existence, Stars looking back like they're hiding the evidence, Who wrote the rules? Who measured the distance? Why does something feel true before we find the statistics? Maybe that's why I pray even when I'm uncertain, Not every conversation needs an audible version, Maybe faith isn't proof that removes every question, Maybe faith is walking while carrying the question. And I've seen people drown in the image they're selling, Likes turn into numbers, numbers turn into pressure, Comparing their chapter to somebody's highlight, Then wondering why their own life don't feel right. We got information flying faster than thought, Everybody got an opinion, barely anybody stops, So I guard what enters this little head of mine, 'Cause not everything loud deserves a place in your mind. [HOOK 2 - CHILDREN'S CHOIR] EYYY! EYYYY! EYYYY! EYYYYYY! DAANNNGG! EYYY! EYYY! EYYY! EYYY! EYYY! EYYY! EYYY! DAANNNGG! EYYY! RAPLOVER! RAPLOVER! RAPLOVER! RAPLOVER! RAPLOVER! RAPLOVER! [VERSE 3] Now I'm back with the pen and I'm dissecting the rhythm, Breaking every sentence to examine what's hidden, Internal patterns interlocking inside of the syntax, Words bouncing off words till the whole thing snaps back. I don't need a crown, I need room for improvement, Every weak line is another piece of the blueprint, I study what I hear, then I twist it through my filter, Take the lesson, leave the imitation in the mirror. They might overlook me, that's nothing new, I've had whole rooms underestimate what I could do, But I'm learning that attention ain't the same as respect, And being noticed ain't the same as being effective. So let them talk while I'm tightening the screws, Let them sleep while I'm figuring out what to do, I don't need revenge, I need evidence of progress, Something I can point to and say, "I built this." [HOOK 3] I'm somewhere between the question and the answer, Between every little failure and the person I'm becoming. I don't need to know exactly where this road ends, I just need enough courage to keep walking through the unknown. If I lose my way, I'll learn from where I landed, If I change along the way, then maybe that's the plan. Yheah... I'm still becoming. Raplover... I'm still becoming. [BRIDGE] And maybe that's enough. Not having it figured out. Not knowing exactly where the story goes. Just refusing to let somebody else write the ending. [FINAL VERSE] I got flaws I don't advertise, fears I don't broadcast, memories I don't revisit unless I need to unpack. But I'm not ashamed of the pieces that made me, Even the ugly chapters put something in the pages. I can be grateful and confused in the same breath, Laugh at breakfast, question everything by sunset. That's not contradiction, that's being alive, You can carry doubt and still keep your faith alive. So when I look back, I don't wanna see perfection, I wanna see a kid who kept making corrections. Who took every strange thought, every failure, every question, and somehow turned the noise into something worth remembering. [FINAL HOOK] I'm somewhere between who I was and who I'll be, Between every scar behind me and every dream I still can see. I don't need a perfect answer, I just need another day, Another chance to turn the thoughts inside my head into a way. I'm somewhere between the person and the purpose, Still learning what I'm worth without needing to be perfect. Yheah... I'm still becoming. I'm still becoming. [OUTRO] Maybe growing up isn't finding yourself. Maybe it's realizing you were never finished. Uh... Raplover.
