(Intro) I’ve been holding on, the week’s been long, (Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh) I’ve been holding on, the week’s been long. [Verse 1] it’s Friday night, (Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh) I feel alive. Worked all week, now it’s my time, (Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh) To break away, and cross that line. [Chorus] Oh, I’ve been waiting, waiting, Waiting for the weekend. Oh, I’ve been waiting, waiting, Waiting for the weekend. [Post-Chorus] Waiting… waiting… (Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh) For the weekend [Verse 2] it’s Friday night, (Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh) I feel alive. [Bridge] The music’s here, (Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh) I’m letting go, (Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh) The weekend’s calling.
