The Reason for Christmas

[Female Vocals Only] [Proper pronunciation] [Good vocal chain] [Melody Chords in Am – F – C – G] [F – G – Am – C, C – G – Am – F] [Verse 1] They’re decking the halls, wrapping the gifts, Scrolling through posts with holiday pics. But in the rush, have we lost the way, Forgotten the reason for this holy day? [Pre-Chorus: melodic] It’s not in the lights or the snow we see, But in a manger, there’s the key. [Chorus: catchy and melodic] This is Christmas, not just a vibe, It’s the birth of Jesus, the Lord is alive. Step back, reflect, let the truth ring, This is the season to worship our King. [Verse 2] Parties and laughter, they’re good and fine, But what about the star that shines? A humble birth, God’s love revealed, In Bethlehem, His grace was sealed. [Repeat Pre-Chorus] [Repeat Chorus with backing vocals] [Repeat Verse 2 - Different key] [Repeat Pre-Chorus] [Repeat Chorus with backing vocals] [Outro:] It’s not in the lights or the snow we see, But in a manger, there’s the key.
