Dearly beloved we are gathered today to give glory and honor in every possible way for You have shown such mercy, strength, and grace after so many years of running this race toward a love that is patient and kind— a love that keeps me at the forefront of your mind I prayed for you, Love, kneeled at the altar baring my soul knowing He cannot falter before they arrived in the guise of soul-ties— broken bonds, burnt candles wax-sealed jars with no handles prayers to be kept, mumbled through tears wept Where are you now, Love? I cry out in pain believing all is well— and my prayer’s not in vain
