Verse 1 In every street and every home A light of hope begins to grow Through simple acts of love and care We plant the seeds that all can share Children laugh and voices sing New life to every heart we bring Together walking hand in hand Serving the people of the land Chorus Build a community, hearts shining bright Working together in unity’s light Step by step the pathway we see Love is the way to build a community Verse 2 A prayer is whispered in the night A gathering glows with gentle light Friends arise with courage strong Inviting every soul along Youth and elders side by side Let kindness be our only guide In every heart a dream will start To build a world where all take part Chorus Build a community, hearts shining bright Working together in unity’s light Step by step the pathway we see Love is the way to build a community Bridge One small act can start the flame Every soul can play a part When we serve in Bahá’u’lláh’s Name We awaken every heart Final Chorus Build a community, strong and free Rooted in love and harmony Hand in hand for all to see Together we build a community
