Verse 1 What are the Keys, this power divine? A right Christ gave to His church, a holy sign. To forgive the sins of all who repent, But hold forgiveness from the impenitent. Chorus "Receive the Spirit," Christ’s breath proclaims, "If you forgive, it’s done in My name. If you withhold, it remains unbroken, These are the keys, My Word is spoken."
