[Verse 1] Peel on my shoe At the fruit stand door You slipped off the rack And asked for more Yellow on yellow You spun in the air Over the crosswalk Like you owned the square [Pre-Chorus] Now everybody looks up When you go by Tiny wild rocket Cutting through the sky [Chorus] Flying bananas Flying bananas Up over the corner Out of my hands Flying bananas Flying bananas Stick to the day Like sugar on my plans [Verse 2] You landed in a cart By the box of limes Then you took off again At the stoplight sign Kids on the curb Went, "Look at that!" You flashed like a banner And never looked back [Pre-Chorus] Now everybody looks up When you go by Tiny wild rocket Cutting through the sky [Chorus] Flying bananas Flying bananas Up over the corner Out of my hands Flying bananas Flying bananas Stick to the day Like sugar on my plans [Bridge] If the sky gets heavy You still don't stall Curved little comet Best fruit of all [Final Chorus] Flying bananas Flying bananas Up over the corner Out of my hands Flying bananas Flying bananas Stick to the day Like sugar on my plans Flying bananas Flying bananas Yeah, you make the whole block grin
