The battle rages on, from near the beginning of time Not always of flesh and blood but it affects all our lives What will you do... when you're called onto the frontline? Will you go to war for your King? Will it be His praises that you sing? Will you go where you're called, or stand still your courage dissolved? Our mission was quite simply shown As He laid out a path to a new home Will you step out in faith... and proclaim the Good News that you know? Will you go to war for your King? Will it be His praises that you sing? Will you go where you're called, or stand still your courage dissolved? The burden is light, with Christ by our side When He calls to you, please don't run and hide What will you do.... will you trust Him to be your guide? Will you go to war for your King? Will it be His praises that you sing? Will you go where you're called, or stand still your courage dissolved? His plan will go on despite all our inactions His will can not be subverted Will we miss out on the blessings He gives Or will we trust in all of His assurances? Will you go to war for your King? (war for the King!) Will it be His praises that you sing? (praises that you sing) Will you go where you're called... (yes I will go!) Will you go to war for your King? Will it be His praises that you sing? Will you go where you're called, or stand still your courage dissolved? Will you go where you're called, or stand still... your courage dissolved!
