When I was young I was helpin' my grandma She said, "Jim, hand me that clothespin." I said, "I ain't doin' that, I'm busy playin'." She just smiled Shook her head Looked me square in the eyes "Good luck with that." Then I heard... A twig snap. Grandma was comin' There was nowhere left to run She knew every shortcut And every trick I'd ever done She sang, You're such a big dude Runnin' away again You think you're faster But you ain't never gonna win Good luck with that You're gonna need it You keep on runnin' But I can still see it She'd been here She'd been there Oh my... Everywhere Swam through the pool Jumped the swing Crawled through the bushes Hopped the neighbor's fence All I heard was, "Good mornin', Jim!" My butt was on fire I was gone in a heartbeat All I heard behind me was, "Good luck with that!" When I finally came back Tryin' to catch my breath Grandma was standin' there Laughin' so hard She could barely speak She wiped a tear away Looked at me and grinned "Jimbo... You sure do run fast."
