The way things used to be: I think back, to the way things used to be. I remember the feel vividly, But I can't recall the scene. Bringing back the image, Confuses me. Because I know, This zoomed in picture, Couldn't be complete- It feels warm and fuzzy, Like a Nova, draped over me~ But what's in that fuzziness? The static lined edges, Do I want to know? Is what I am seeing, The real you or just a dream? A perfect reflection, Or Some sort of invention? I'm not a poet, Just a grifter, playing pretend. It doesn't hurt when you dont remember, Because I get to meet you, all over again~ But all things can't be, what they used to be. The image gets darker and duller overtime. My memory's not perfect, But I think that no one's is. To collapse into present, What no longer exists~ Can sometimes, disappoint you, Ghosts can't slow dance. It's not your fault, Things can never be, What they used to be.
