[Verse 1] Your smile hit first Like a match to my chest That look stayed on me Like a handprint pressed Your tone came soft Then it cut like a spark I knew in one breath You could light up the dark [Pre-Chorus] And I felt that pull In the way you moved Like you knew my name Before I spoke the truth [Chorus] First look, first fire You and I, we collide First look, first fire I heard love in your stride That smile, that stare That voice so right First look, first fire And I was yours that night [Verse 2] You laughed like a vow Under your breath and low I stood there stunned Trying not to show Your eyes said stay Your mouth said more Every little word Kept cracking the floor [Pre-Chorus] Now I’m leaning in To the heat you give If this is the start Then this is how I live [Chorus] First look, first fire You and I, we collide First look, first fire I heard love in your stride That smile, that stare That voice so right First look, first fire And I was yours that night [Bridge] Take me back there To that first exact spark When your silence shined And it tore through the dark I was wide awake At the edge of your name Now every slow forever Still burns the same [Final Chorus] First look, first fire You and I, we collide First look, first fire I heard love in your stride That smile, that stare That voice so right First look, first fire And I was yours that night
