[Intro] Static… One beacon. Then two. Then ten more screaming through the night. “Please… somebody…” “Can anyone hear us?” The whole planet is calling. [Verse 1] One light blinking on the board Then another starts to glow Colony walls, the cities burning Everywhere we look, they know People trapped behind the doors Families hiding underground Every channel full of voices Everywhere the same damn sound [Pre-Chorus] No time to count them No time to breathe Just pick a sector And get them free [Chorus] THE CALLS ARE COMING IN! From every side! Every settlement Every city Begging for a ride! THE CALLS ARE COMING IN! Through the static and the smoke! Somebody answer! Somebody go! Somebody get them out alive! [Verse 2] Forerunner hears them all at once Operators can't keep pace Coordinates flood the screen One emergency after another takes its place Medical teams Security teams Civilians losing power Whole colonies going dark By the minute, by the hour Marines are standing ready Waiting for the word Every soldier knows the order— Nobody gets left unheard. [Chorus] THE CALLS ARE COMING IN! We answer every cry! Drop into the darkness Pull them from the fire! THE CALLS ARE COMING IN! Every squad gets one more zone! We don't know what we're walking into But we're bringing everyone home! [Verse 3] Jason checks his pulse rifle Arch locks the Smartgun tight Jon checks the fuel on his flamer Shy rolls his shoulders for the fight Ghosty checks her gear beside them Grins beneath the helmet glow Five Marines One dropship “Alright.” “Let's go.” [Pre-Chorus] Hangar doors are opening Red lights flood the bay Another sector calling Another life to save [Chorus] THE CALLS ARE COMING IN! From every side! Every settlement Every city Begging for a ride! THE CALLS ARE COMING IN! And we're answering the call! Five Marines going down there— We're bringing them all. [Verse 4 — The Injury] The building looked abandoned Till the ceiling came alive Movement tore across the darkness And the whole damn room ignited Arch fired from the doorway Jon burned the corridor Shy dragged two civilians clear While Ghosty hit the floor Jason shouted— “MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!” The walls began to shake One blast threw Arch across the room Another knocked Jon away Shy caught falling steel Ghosty pulled a survivor free Four wounded in the chaos— But Jason kept them moving. [Breakdown] ARCH! — “I'm good!” JON! — “Still standing!” SHY! — “Keep moving!” GHOSTY! — “I'm not dead yet!” Jason looked across the room. “Then get them to the ship!” [Verse 5] Bruises underneath the armor Blood running down the sleeve Nothing broken Nothing fatal Just enough to make them bleed Arch's shoulder took the impact Jon's arm was burned and sore Shy's armor took the worst of it Ghosty's limping toward the door But the civilians made it out. Every single one. [Chorus] THE CALLS ARE COMING IN! And we still answer every one! Even when we're bleeding Even when we're done! THE CALLS ARE COMING IN! But this squad needs time to heal! So Jason hears the next transmission— And knows he's going in without his team. [Bridge] Back aboard the Forerunner Medics pull them from the bay Arch can't lift his shoulder. Jon's arm is wrapped in gauze. Shy sits against the bulkhead Ghosty laughs through the pain. “Guess we're benched.” Jason looks at them. “Just for now.” The comm suddenly crackles. “New distress signal received.” Jason looks toward the door. Four injured teammates stare back. Arch shakes his head. “Go.” Jon nods. “Bring 'em home.” Shy grins. “Don't make us come looking for you.” Ghosty raises a hand. “Try not to get yourself killed, Jason.” Jason grabs his rifle. “I'll try.” [Final Chorus] THE CALLS ARE COMING IN! From every side! Every settlement Every city Begging for a ride! THE CALLS ARE COMING IN! And somebody has to go! Jason checks his rifle. “Send me the coordinates.” [Outro] Coordinates hit the screen. Jason stares at them. Arch's voice comes through the comm: “Be careful.” Jason: “Always.” Dropship engines roar. The bay doors open. Jason steps aboard alone. The remote facility waits below. Dark. Silent. Watching. Jason looks at the empty seat beside him. Then grips his rifle. “We're on our way.” Static. The distress beacon keeps transmitting.
