[Intro] [electric guitar playing a rhythmic, syncopated riff] When the sun won't shine And every day is winter Keep believing And then spring will appear When it seems to be The end of your tomorrow Forget yesterday There's hope today It's the only way [Chorus] [The bass guitar follows the kick drum pattern with a rounded, mid-heavy tone] Carry on, carry on, carry on The sun dries the clouds away There's a light at the end of the road If you keep believing Carry on, carry on, carry on There's gold at the rainbow's end On this road there is no return You should reach for the stars again Carry on my friend [Verse 1] [electric guitar playing a rhythmic, syncopated riff] When the winter seems As endless as forever Keep believing And then spring will appear When there seems to be No future, no tomorrow Forget yesterday There's hope today It's the only way [Chorus] [The bass guitar follows the kick drum pattern with a rounded, mid-heavy tone] Carry on, carry on, carry on The sun dries the clouds away There's a light at the end of the road If you keep believing Carry on, carry on, carry on There's gold at the rainbow's end On this road there is no return You should reach for the stars again Carry on my friend [Verse 2] [electric guitar playing a rhythmic, syncopated riff] All my questions and all my doubts All life's mysteries I guess one day I'll find the answers 'Til then I'll still believe [Outro] [Chorus] [The bass guitar follows the kick drum pattern with a rounded, mid-heavy tone] Carry on, carry on, carry on The sun dries the clouds away There's a light at the end of the road If you keep believing Carry on, carry on, carry on There's gold at the rainbow's end On this road there is no return You should reach for the stars again Carry on my friend
