It Feels Like Home

A soft truth rises near my feet, A glow that guides me down the way. The truth inside begins to rise, And calls me toward the path ahead. I’ve been walking with truth I carried, Yet something pulls me down this path. This place feels right, a place of peace, But still my soul seeks one more step. It isn’t more than what I can hold Just finding where the better is at. I found a place that feels like home, Inside the truth I choose to feel. Yet something moves me down the path A better place where hope is real. And even when the truth finds home, And the soul seeks more and moves on. There’s stillness here like settling stone, A peace that says I could remain. But truth lifts like a rising ride, A pull that bends the path again. Home lives in every breath I take Yet truth steps on, and I must stay. I found a place that feels like home, Inside the truth I choose to feel. Yet something moves me down the path A better place where hope is real. And even when the truth finds home, And the soul seeks more and moves on. If truth feels home, then why the pull? Why rise when all I want is to stay? Maybe home’s where the heart grows full And truth clears out another way. It isn’t the place, it isn’t the time, But still the soul needs to grow. I found a place that feels like home, Inside the truth I choose to feel. Yet something moves me down the path A better place where hope is real. And even when the truth finds home, And the soul seeks more and moves on. Truth takes one more step because it must. A seeker. A wanderer. A path that grows as long as I believe. And somewhere in that motion, home becomes the place where peace can rise and love can grow— even as the path moves on.
