[Verse] Take it easy On this Friday This ain't the end It's just the beginning [Chorus] How great it is that it's Friday How great it is it's here And everyone's down And the walls are back up How great it is that it's Friday How great it is it's here And everyone's down [Verse] Drink modestly now So you're good for later Line your belly With bread [Verse] Watch your step Be sure to cross straight And don't stop for too long Keep your handbag in your hand [Chorus] How great it is that it's Friday How great it is it's here And everyone's down And the walls are back up How great it is that it's Friday How great it is it's here And everyone's down [Bridge] This is no workday sacrifice You can suffer all night If you're called upon
