"Lost in the glow..." The city speaks in silent tones, Neon skies, but I’m all alone. Shadows move where the secrets hide, Echoes whisper, "don’t collide." Dreams fade on the empty street, Hearts race to a broken beat. Cold hands grasp the fleeting light, Chasing shadows through the night. Every step feels like a fight, Underneath these fractured lights. Breathing slow, but it’s hard to cope, Hold on tight, don’t lose the hope. Lost in the neon, it’s brighter than day, Memories flicker, then they slip away. Running in circles, but the end’s out of sight, Shadows in neon, they dance through the night. Reflections shatter, they cut like glass, Chasing moments that will never last. Time slows, but the pain’s too fast, A mirage in the smoke, the die is cast. Fingers trace the lines of the past, Fading visions that refuse to last. In the haze where the lost souls meet, Neon graves on a phantom street. The voices call, but they don’t say my name, Every face looks the same in the flame. Through the static, I hear the refrain, A melody carved in the vein.
