[Verse 1] “Oh Niksue, Forestwalker, so bold, With panther tattoos and hair of blue-gold, She grabbed her skillet, she grabbed her pan, And cooked up a beast no mortal should plan!” [Verse 2] “She seared and she stirred with a devilish grin, The panther’s last supper? A guaranteed sin! Her ex took a bite, then bolted out the door, Swore off her cooking forevermore!” [Verse 3] “Now travelers beware, if you hear her cook call, You might lose your taste buds, or worse, lose it all! So lift up your mugs, let the ale foam and pour, To Niksue the chef, who we’ll never eat for!” The group shared a hearty laugh when, unexpectedly and without warning, Niksue leaned against a small glass-paned door, eyes wide with curiosity. “Oh, did I miss you making me famous?” she asked, her gaze sparkling with mischief. [Music stops. Eladarmi stuttered, caught mid-breath.] Adalfuns leaned back, grinning. “I dare you to sing that one.” Niksue tilted her head playfully. “Oh, do! I’d love to hear it.” Adalfuns tried to hide his amusement behind a soft laugh. Eladarmi mouthed silently to Severine: “HELP ME.” Severine shook her head, clearly enjoying the chaos. “How did it go?” Adalfuns asked. Gasping between laughter, Eladarmi managed, “Well… nigh!” Severine laughed. “You brought this on yourself.” Adalfuns leaned toward the small glass-paned door, glancing meaningfully. “The cooking sends you to the… what?” “Oh, do please sing it again,” Niksue purred, eyes gleaming. Eladarmi coughed politely, then picked up his mandolin with a nod. “Very well.” Severine struggled to contain a grin. With a twinkle in his eye, Eladarmi began a jaunty melody, strumming the first chords lightly and teasingly. He ran through the chorus twice to lock it into their heads, then sang playfully: [Verse 4] “Oh Niksue, Forestwalker, so clever, so bright, Your hands weave wonders, your presence a light. No panther could rival the warmth that you give; In every small moment, you teach us to live!” [Verse 5] “Your meals are a treasure, each bite a delight, Even exes would linger if they stayed for the night. Through thorns and through shadows, you stride with such grace, The forest itself bows to your beauty and pace!” [[Joyous laughter of the group]]
