Witch's Heart (Сердце ведьмы)

V5.5

"God! Protect us from the Evil One And who has said a Witch is capable of love? Who knows what feelings she is granted to possess? So often they are cold, and haughty, and heartless, For love’s a weight they cannot rise above. There is no joy within a world of shade, As no bank clerk for charity was made. "The fallen One will rise up and rule the world!" But still, she is a woman, child of Lilith’s line, How could she tempt and lure if she were hollow? The greatest art that any man could follow Is hard for her, though magic be her sign. To make one fall for her own selfish whim, Or by Command of Hell—success for him. "The fallen One will rise up and rule the world!" And who has said that witches have no soul at all, That they are merely soulless creatures in the night? Such thoughts belong to those who’ve lost their light, Who dwell in silence, waiting for their fall. There are some folk who doubt the Devil’s name, Yet baring teeth, they play his wicked game. "The fallen One will rise up and rule the world!" All witches sisters are, in sorrow and in fate, Their lives are epilogues to worlds of golden light. And if there were a soul who, by some miracle of might, Could bring a straying heart back to a happy state— A world of paradise they’d gain as their reward, To live in peace, with sins forgiven by the Lord. "God! Protect us from the Evil One"
