(SPOKEN WORD - Warm, low, storytelling tone)You know, friends... I pulled up a chair the other night. Just me, my heavy heart, and a million questions running through my mind like a runaway train. The room was quiet... but my soul was loud.I looked across the table, and there was Jesus. Just sitting there, calm as a Sunday morning, looking at me with eyes that knew everything I’d ever done... yet loved me anyway. He smiled and said, "Go ahead. Ask me anything."And so began our little Q&A.(SPOKEN WORD - Music builds slightly, adding a soft bass line)I looked down at my hands and I asked Him, "Lord, why does the road get so rough? Why does it feel like I’m wandering in the dark sometimes, completely lost?"Well, He reached across that worn wooden table, and His voice... it was like a cool breeze on a hot July afternoon. He said, "Child, you've never been lost. Not for a single second. I’ve been leading you, guiding you, and directing every single step. When you couldn't see the path, I was the one clearing it. And when the valley was deep, I was the one holding the lantern."(SUNG - Slow, soulful, Southern Gospel harmony swells)He holds the lantern in the valley deep,He guides the stumbling steps of His weary sheep.Through the darkest night, His mercy will provide,You’ve never been lost, with the Savior by your side.(SPOKEN WORD - Music softens back to just the piano and organ)I swallowed hard. The tears were starting to blur my vision. I looked at Him and whispered, "But Lord... what about the times I messed up? The times I walked away, or fell short, and felt completely alone? Didn't you leave me then?"He just shook His head, and a deep, comforting warmth filled that room."Never," He said. His voice was steady as a rock. "I will never leave you, and I will never forsake you. My promises aren't built on your perfection; they’re built on My devotion. When you thought you were alone, child, I was right there in the shadows... keeping watch."(SUNG - Full quartet harmony swells, powerful and rich)Never alone, oh never alone,His mercy is greater than the sins we own.Not by our perfection, but by His grace divine,He’s keeping watch through the test of time.(SPOKEN WORD - Music drops to a soft, emotional piano trickle)Then... I asked Him the hardest question of all. The one that keeps me up when the lights go out.I said, "Lord... look at me. With all my flaws, all my broken pieces, and all my doubts... am I really worth all of this? Am I even worthy?"Jesus leaned in closer. He looked straight into my soul, erasing every single lie the devil ever told me.And He said, "You listen to me. You are worthy because I made you worthy. You are not a mistake, and you are not a burden. You are Somebody. You are My child—bought with a price, designed with a purpose, and loved beyond measure. Don't you ever let the world tell you you're nothing, when the King of Kings says you are everything."(SUNG - Big, triumphant finish, full choir/quartet style, soaring alto and driving bass)I am everything to the King of Kings!Bought with a price that His mercy brings! No longer broken, no longer bound,In the love of Jesus, my worth is found!Oh, the King of Kings... says I am everything!(Outro: The music slows down to a final, grand piano flourish, ending on a warm, lingering organ chord.)(SPOKEN WORD - Final whisper)Yes, He does. You are everything to Him.
