The One Who Said No First

[Verse 1] He was sitting by the wall, arms folded, watching everyone. "I don't dance," he said before anybody asked. Five minutes later, someone put a tambourine in his hand. No one knows how it happened, but somehow he found the rhythm. [ Chorus] There's always someone who says no first. And almost every time, they're laughing loudest by the end of the night. A melody doesn't care who you've been all week. It simply knocks, and waits until you open the door. [ Verse 2] She forgot the words right in the middle of the chorus. Then everyone else forgot to be afraid. So we made up new ones. Funny enough, they sounded even better. No one could ever sing the same way again. [ Bridge] Maybe that's why the best nights can't be planned. They just happen when no one's trying to make them perfect. [ Final Chorus] So the next time the music starts, don't wait for the perfect moment. It may already have found you before you even notice. And if someone asks who sang the best that night, no one really remembers. But everyone remembers the happy feeling. [Fully resolved ending]
