Verse 1 Snowflakes shimmy as they fall to the street, Cold wind blowin’, but the beat stays heat. Downtown glowin’ like a neon sleigh, Boots keep steppin’ in a funky sway. Santa got the mirror shades, struttin’ the scene, Rockin’ red velvet like a disco king. Chorus We’re funkin’ through December, oh can’t you feel that cheer? Jingle bells with a bassline, the groove is crystal clear. A funky Christmas party, with love in every rhyme— We’re funkin’ through December, one jive at a time. Verse 2 Sugarplum rhythms in a candy cane twist, Holiday magic with a little bit of wrist. Elves break-dancin’ by the fire tonight, North Pole steppin’ with a multi-colored light. Reindeer boogie in a moonlit glow, Rudolph’s nose pulse like a strobe light show. Chorus 2 We’re funkin’ through December, the season’s feelin’ right, Sip that cocoa bass-boosted under twinklin’ lights. A funky Christmas party that lasts till morning shine— We’re funkin’ through December, movin’ down the line. [Long instrumental break] [Rap Verse] Yo, I step to the mic with a frosty grin, Got the spirit of the season and the funk locked in. I’m the holiday hustler with the cocoa drip, Candy-cane stripes on my jacket and lip. Slide past the wreath with a peppermint flow, I’m the spark in the dark when the streetlights glow. Mrs. Claus told me, “Bring the beat back home,” So I’m ridin’ through December in a chrome sleigh dome. Elves on the rooftop poppin’ off moves, Breakin’ like they powered by the Christmas grooves. Reindeer chillin’ in aviators bright, Dancin’ in the snowfall under neon light. Jack Frost tryin’ to freeze my vibe, But the funk so warm that the chill can’t thrive. Even the snowflakes bop when I stroll on by, And the ornaments shimmer when I spit that fly. Last stop on the sleigh, got the presents stacked, With a beat so fat Santa asked for the track. So crank that sleigh bell—boost that bass, Let the funk shake joy through the whole darn place! Bridge Slide to the chimney, jump to the tree, Shake like a snow globe, let your spirit run free. Spin like a vinyl on that holiday track, Let the funk wrap ‘round you like a present in a sack. Ho-ho-ho—feel the rhythm take hold, It’s a Christmas groove dipped in glitter and gold. Outro So keep that sleigh bell rhythm tight and smooth, Let every heart find the holiday groove. A funky December from dusk to dawn— Merry Christmas, y’all, keep the funk rollin’ on!
