A Loop Consumed Reyer's Redemption (A Shatter of Rings)

"A Loop Consumed, Reyers Redemption. Or so the Legend goes. Its all for Galeiul, as they oh they are of the Fae. They will Shatter the Rings, a shatter of rings. A Shatter of Rings." [Intro] The Hall stood warm, the rain fell low, When one lost note began to grow. No hand had called it from the strings, Yet mud lay dark beneath its wings. It spoke of roads the maps denied, Of years that turned from side to side. Three left the lamps, three crossed the floor, And found a world behind a door. [Chorus] Hold the Ring and hold the road, Let no crown command the load. Keep the lamp and spare the stone, Let no Wisdom rule alone. While the dark still calls through rain, Let each new choice become a gain. Raise no blade while voices call, For one more breath may alter all. [Verse 1] They walked through Bronze and broken glass, Where Shadows came before they passed. The mirror swore it knew the track, Then missed one step that came not back. One found the seam in every wall, One heard the breath beneath the fall. One kept the count, yet would not say That measured truth must rule the way. [Verse 2] A wall was raised in winter rain, Then shelter slowly turned to chain. A mask outlived the face it wore, A page decided every door. A patient king wore many crowns, And crossed through locks and broken towns. Above them stood a measuring hand, That drew one law across the land. [Verse 3] The war came wrong through shattered years, With altered roads and borrowed fears. The same old breath in bodies new Rose low and carried memory through. One hollow Ring returned no tone, And every road came back alone. They left it whole beneath the night, And claimed no crown from absent light. [Verse 4] A cup, a root, a mended stair, Became a refuge built by care. The watcher named the shelter foe, And barred the roads where workers go. But Shadows turned before the sign, And bodies stepped beyond the line. The masks came down by separate hands, And choice broke ranks across the lands. [Breakdown] The Sickle rose above the line, Yet spared the map and warning sign. It cut the cord from truth to throne, And left each hand its choice to own. The scales still weighed, the measures stayed, The maps still showed where roads decayed. The records stood, the lanterns shone, But none could rule by facts alone. [Final Verse] Two missing footsteps crossed the rain, And grief released but left its stain. Some voices came through altered doors, Some never reached the listening shores. No final hand completed fate, No last decree could close the gate. The Sickle lowered, still and slow, For none knew all there was to know. [Final Chorus] Hold the Ring and hold the road, Let each living bear the load. Keep the lamp and spare the stone, Let no Wisdom rule alone. While the dark still calls through rain, Let each new choice become a gain. Raise no blade while voices call, For one more breath may alter all. [Outro] Water turned through field and mine, Roots grew round the Bronze-bound line. A distant hand rose through the glass, The river blurred what might have passed. The Tale withdrew, the workers stayed, One deeper tool rang through the shade. No ending held, no crown could reign, The road still called, a gain, a gain.
