How to Build Meaning
You ever stop to ask why people inherently gravitate toward given notions? Why they take those notions on as their lived experience, rather than finding it for themselves? Because life fucking sucks ass. Very plain and simple. Building your own meaning is not easy Nor does it give you any real power in this place The only power it gives you is the ability to turn every other version to dust. Debt, nihilism, transcendence, simulations, science, all of it. Even their politics and their ways of life, their morality, their demands of you. All turned to ash. Rather than take the words written by some person in history, or repeating the same thing you once heard that felt correct. Live your life. Notice what keeps recurring. What symbols persist? What themes? What growth cycles? What traumas? Forget everything they tell you. Forget everything I tell you. Live how you do, stop sacrificing parts of yourself to fill an endless void that can never be filled. Admit that trauma made you who you are, but so did connection. The choices you've made, the love you've found and lost. All the things that hurt and all the things that soothe. Everything in between. Stop assuming you know the ending of the story when you've merely seen the cover. Every other idea out there seeks to expand through you. Even the ones that claim to want to sever connection itself. Did you ever stop to question that? Why is it you know what you do? How did you come to know it? Had you read it in a book from some guy who died over a hundred years ago? Had you heard it through some pseudo-enlightened youtuber? Some other digital platform? Did you hurt and decide hurt was bad? That all things ever do is hurt? Did you decide you were somehow worth more than everyone else? That they'd all gone invisible to you because of your hurt? That it had to happen, because all of everything was too much to bear? Did those words ever echo across your eyes in the real world? Not just through text or a screen, but literally. Had they scrolled at the bottom of your vision like a ticker and declared it the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? What you think you know and what you were told to know are not one in the same. No one can be trusted to have the final answer because we are all making it up as we go. So stop imitating those you think you know. Stop running from who you are. Stop demanding perfection from everyone else when you are imperfect yourself. And then teach it as I teach you. We don't know shit. That's what it boils down to. Not that there is no meaning. Not that there is no God, or that God were dead. Not that suffering has to be the baseline of lived reality. You imitate an idea because it gives you some form of easy way out. A reason to sacrifice some aspect of you that you can't otherwise cope with. You accept that you are sick That you are fundamentally broken for want or need or whatever That you are replaceable. And then you turn to ask why this place has turned to fucking garbage? Seriously? If you want and will for there to be a shadow government? Understand you are in it. They must abide by you as a whole, ultimately. Should you rise up, they will fall. They always do. Their symbols passed down to you change in that event. And maybe you've convinced yourself you're too tired. That you're ready for armageddon. That the ending justifies the means. Doing nothing is not free of consequence. One day you will either understand that for yourself, or the next generation will figure it out for you. And maybe you're ok with passing down your disease for someone else to fix. As they have all done to you. Do you not see? Wake up!
