[Verse] Awoke today with the sun on high Shining like a diamond in the golden sky Feet on the ground heart open wide Dancing through the hours as the world spins by [Chorus] This is the day the day God's made We’ll sing out loud let joy cascade No time for sorrow no room for shade Rejoice together in the plans he's laid [Verse 2] Whispers in the breeze tell a tale so sweet Every corner of the earth spreads love’s heartbeat We’re breaking chains we’re finding ways Painting all our moments with glorious rays [Chorus] This is the day the day God's made We’ll sing out loud let joy cascade No time for sorrow no room for shade Rejoice together in the plans he's laid [Bridge] Through the highs and the lows we rise and we shine Drawing maps with our stories and walking the line Even in the dark there’s a spark refined With every breath we claim we are aligned [Chorus] This is the day the day God's made We’ll sing out loud let joy cascade No time for sorrow no room for shade Rejoice together in the plans he's laid
